Here's this list so I can stop trying to remember it:
Gift ideas for me that are not on my registry
(I would love to recycle/reuse by having these things bought on ebay or half.com)
- "Smart Medicine for a Healthier Child" by Rountree, Zand and Walton
- "Your Baby and Child" by Leach
- "The Nursing Mother's Companion" by Huggins and Lawrence
I guess that was a pretty short list. I just don't want to forget those recommended books. Tonight was our second-to-last birthing class, and we talked about postpartum stuff. The baby, the mother, the adjustments to new life. It sounds fascinating, overwhelming, but ultimately good and not impossible.
I'm at that point in my pregnancy where I'm beginning to feel ready to have the baby come out. He's making a lot of weird movements that are, for lack of a better word, creepy. It doesn't bother me, but I think he's just using his fingers on the wall of my uterus, and I can't wait to kiss those little fingers, instead of feel them scrape me.
28 weeks. 9 more until "full term", which is still three weeks before the actual "due date". I use those terms with quotation marks because babies come when they want, and Finn is not contained to only those choices. I'm sure he'll come when he's damn well ready. I can't wait to hold him outside of my body, because he's getting heavy these days, and like I said, we still have 9 - 12 weeks of him being inside.
And he'll be so precious.
